Dress Code

Las Posas Country Club is a proud organization providing a refined yet relaxed atmosphere for everyone to enjoy themselves.  Whether you’re a member or guest, please abide by our house rules and dress code.  Appropriate attire is enforced at all times, unless otherwise agreed upon with management in writing.  

On the Golf Course  Appropriate golf attire is required. Jeans are not allowed on the golf course or practice areas. Shirts must be tucked inside pants, unless specifically designed to be worn outside of the pants. If in doubt, ask the Golf Professional or staff. Gentlemen may wear tailored slacks or Bermuda shorts (no shorter than mid-thigh length). T-shirts, tank tops, warm-up and exercise suits are not permitted. Ladies may wear golf skirts, tailored slacks and Bermuda shorts (no shorter than mid-thigh length). Leggings, stirrup pants, warm-up and exercise suits, velour pant suits, nylon jogging shorts, tank tops or any other abbreviated clothing is not permitted. Soft spikes only are allowed at Las Posas Country Club. Hats may be worn only with the bill facing forward. Please ensure that your guests’ golf shoes conform. Scorers and other accompanying golfers, and any person with a private group or club group of players, must wear acceptable golf attire as set forth above. Please consult with the Golf Professionals should you have any questions.

In the Clubhouse  Members are responsible for insuring that their family and guests adhere to our dress code policies. Guests should be advised of our dress code policies before arrival at the Club. Cleanliness and neatness are expected when using any facility at the Club. All Members and guests are expected to be neat, well-groomed and wearing clothing appropriate for the activity in which they are participating. Maintaining an environment appropriate for a country club is part of maintaining our casual and relaxed atmosphere. Members and guests should use common sense and err on the side of propriety when considering dress options. We reserve the right to deny access to anyone improperly dressed and appreciate your cooperation. Jeans are allowed in the main dining room, bar, grill, locker rooms and patio. Jeans are not allowed on the golf course/practice areas. Short and long sleeved t-shirts, tank tops, camisoles, tube tops, swimwear, halter tops, cut-offs, short-shorts/skirts, workout attire, jeans with frayed edges or tears and flip flops (i.e., rubber/plastic beach/shower shoes) are not allowed. All shirts and blouses designed to be tucked-in are to be worn in the same fashion and must be buttoned. Caps may be worn with the bill facing forward. Golfers wearing golf shoes (soft spikes only) and tennis players wearing court shoes are asked to be sure that the soles and spikes of the shoes are completely clean of dirt and clay before wearing them indoors.

On the Tennis Courts Proper tennis attire required. Tennis shoes, appropriate shirts and shorts for men; tennis skirts or shorts for women. Gentlemen must keep their shirts on while playing tennis and in the clubhouse. Black soled shoes, running shoes and bathing suits are not permitted on the courts.

In the Fitness Center  Members must wear proper footwear. Socks are required. Heels, bare feet, street shoes, beach sandals or spike-less golf shoes are not permitted. Ladies may wear tights with shorts, shirts, T-shirts, warm-ups or other appropriate exercise attire. Gentlemen may wear T-shirts, warm-ups or other appropriate exercise attire. No bathing or swim attire. No abbreviated clothing. Excessive cologne or perfume is discouraged.
